Budva ↔ Bečići
Staying in Bečići and heading into Budva? The local Mediteran Express bus is the easy way into Budva’s Old Town. It’s about a 40-minute walk otherwise, and even with a car, parking near the old town is scarce and rarely free — for around €1.50 the bus saves you both the walk and the parking hunt.
Bečići has plenty of its own beach bars and restaurants, but Budva’s Old Town has far more choice for dining and nightlife — so most visitors head into town at least once or twice during a stay. Two lines make the trip — the Budva – Sveti Stefan line and the Budva – Petrovac line — and both stop at the Bečići stops (Boreti and Hotel Putnik) heading back into town. Between the two, a bus leaves for Budva roughly every 15–20 minutes through the day in season.
Going the other way — from Budva out to Bečići — is just as easy: board any Sveti Stefan or Petrovac bus at the Mediteran Express terminal on Mediteranska street (the central roundabout, across from the Perla café) or at any stop heading south, and get off at Boreti or Hotel Putnik about 10 minutes later.
Board at the Boreti or Hotel Putnik shelter on the main road, flag the bus down, and pay the seller at the stop or the driver in cash. The ride into the centre of Budva takes about 10 minutes, and the buses run late — so it works for a dinner and drinks in the old town.
